hitomi :: frozen in time
|
Review frozen in time is hitomi's third music video compilation. I have mixed feelings on these six MVs, but overall I'd say it's a good collection. Aside from the music videos there is a 4 minute video clip of hitomi and the gang hanging out together, bowling, eating, and having a good time.
I don't mean to generalize, but INNER CHILD, IS IT YOU?, and INNOCENCE are all pretty average. There is nothing too special happening, though I do find some enjoyment from them.
Samurai Drive is a fun music video and we get to see hitomi dressed up as a "neo samurai."
Understanding is very visually appealing. The colors are excellent, from the blue interior to the hot pink car. I love when music videos have this kind of visual luster. Oh yeah, and hitomi also looks great here in both outfits.
flow really stands out in this collection. As the others are fairly flashy, flow is presented in gritty black and white colors. It shows a different side of hitomi that I really liked.
