BoA :: 8 Films and more
|
Review This DVD comes with a compilation of 8 music videos with songs from BoA's first two Japanese albums, LISTEN TO MY HEART and VALENTI. I enjoyed her music videos quite a bit, especially Listen to My Heart, Valenti and ID;Peace B. I tend to like the more upbeat songs than the slower ones, they just make for better music videos. Additionally, this DVD comes with commercials for each of the 8 songs on here and 3 of her albums: LISTEN TO MY HEART, Peace B.REMIXES, and VALENTI. I honestly didn't really care for the commercials though, since they're just short clips from her music videos already included on this DVD (with the exception of Peace B.REMIXES). Other Extras include an English version of the Amazing Kiss music video, and a live performance of the song No. 1 which I really enjoyed.
ID;Peace B
This one involves BoA watching TV, and each station she flips through to, she is starring in it. Its got some good dancing, and even a bit of comedy and variety which I liked. Fans of BoA's Korean music may also notice a short cameo of her Korean music video, Sara.
Amazing Kiss
Wierd. That pretty much sums up my feelings for this one. It has BoA dancing with some people wearing strange helmets and them running after giant bouncing balls. Not bad, just weird.
Kimochi wa tutawaru
This one was kind of average. The dancing parts were pretty good, but the parts with BoA singing outside in the snow were a little slow and boring.
LISTEN TO MY HEART
This MV is my favorite one on here. I really like the use of colors used in this one. BoA's bright pink gloves and blue background really stand out. BoA again shows us that she has got some fun dance moves.
Every Heart
This one also has some nice use of colors during the sky and the short night time scenes look gorgeous. I like this one even though it is slow paced.
VALENTI
I really like the dancing (which this one is pretty much all about) in this music video, its kinda sexy. Great song, great video.
Kiseki
This one again has BoA dancing, this time around sunflowers. Not one of my favorites, but it's still a good watch.
Jewel Song
This last one was average, but it fit the slow tempo of the song. It shows BoA loading a projector and playing some videos of her past (or so it seems), as she sings in some natural environments.
